Frank Wells was the son of a US Marine Sergeant. Sgt. Wells was physically and mentally abusive to both Frank and his mother. At a young age, Frank’s super-strength manifested and he began protecting his mother from his father’s abuse.

Titan fits the "superman" archetype as he has superhuman strength, superhuman speed, invulnerability, and the ability to fly at great speeds. As his powers grew he found out that he has the power to bring himself back to life after he was killed by King Tiger.
