Cathbad is a Chief Druid, who tries to reverse the influence of female rule including goddesses, witches and queens. To do this he attempted to stop Sláine from entering the Cauldron, but failed. He tries to advise Slaine, but never succeeds. He has a strong dislike for dwarfs, Ukko in particular.
