History

Grace survived the Rwandan genocide, but was blinded in the process. Later she emigrated to America.

In America, Nightcrawler helped her from being attacked by thugs. He realised Grace was blind and self-conscious of his appearance, hid his appearance from her. The pair were later attacked by another gang at which point Grace demonstrated her illusion crafting powers and chased the men away. She then lectured Nightcrawler on how he should not be ashamed of how he looked.

Grace has a third eye through which she can see despite her blindness and can craft illusions to scare others.
