Origin
King Alaric is the elder brother of Rolf of Dacia and uncle of Aric. He is the King and leader of The Visigoths and leads them on their quest to find a new homeland and their continuous battles against the Romans. King Alaric is based on Alaric I who is most famous for his sack of Rome in 410, which marked a decisive event in the decline of the Roman Empire.
Creation
King Alaric was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord. He first appeared in "Blades and Open Fields" in X-O Manowar #1 (2012).
