The Nightbird was originally Nightwing's mucle car, with built-in weaponry and had modifications to make it look like a cab or any other nondescript vehicle for camouflage purposes. In addition the Nightbird was bullet-proof and could be driven by remote control. After it's destruction, Nightwing was later seen driving a new and much more heroic-looking version of the Nightbird. While the original looked like a dark red 1970's muscle car, the new Nightbird is now a black-and-blue vehicle that heavily resembles the Batmobile.
