The Army of Hawkman existed briefly when Carter Hall summoned to the present all of his past lives through time and space and beyond using his Nth metal, with the intention to stop Idamm and his Deathbringer army.
When the danger was overcome, the different Hawkmen returned to their proper time, leaving the present Hawkman remembering the total sum of his memories of his past lives.
