History

The Badoon are reptilian-like alien species. In their society, they have a notable gender schism, resulting in two separate groups; the Brotherhood of Badoon (ruled by a ' Brother Royal') and the Sisterhood of Badoon (ruled by a Queen). The Brotherhood live on the planet Moord, while the Sisterhood live on the Badoon homeworld of Lotiara, roughly 42.2 light years from Earth.

There has been a long hatred between the two genders of the Badoon, and they once fought each other in long wars. As time passed, the males won, placing the females in captivity. Eventually the males developed technology and abandoned Lotiara, and only returned to mate. The males became conquerors of worlds, while the females became pacifists, content to remain in peace on their homeworld and ignorant of the males' star-spanning empire. The Badoon are also much older than the Kree and the Skrulls, as well.

The Brotherhood of the Badoon once came to Earth to attempt to enslave the population. They cloaked their ship invisible and investigated the planet. They found that it would be easily defeated. But they soon met with the Silver Surfer who was trapped on Earth. They tried to deceive him and tell him they were there to share technology with the humans. When a woman escaped their clutches however, she informed the Surfer of their plans. The Badoon waged war on the Surfer but he overpowered them and their Monster, and sent them from the planet.

The Badoon allied with the Kree in the Second Kree-Skrull War. The Silver Surfer was tricked into destroying many of their ships by the Skrulls, thus making the Kree his enemies in the war. They used their invisibility to sneak on the Skrull homeworld of Satriani. They had planned to start with the Skrulls and once they were all gone they would turn against the Kree. Each Badoon warrior was equipped with what they call a frag-thong. It explodes when the warrior is killed to kill any enemy warrior in the surroundings. After the battle, it appeared as though all those on the planet were destroyed.

The Brotherhood of the Badoon also have a hatred for all life that are not of their own race. They design weapons for war, including the Zoms, which are made from their victims, and enhanced upon the design of their Monster. They test their weapons on live victims, usually peaceful planets. They were recently defeated during such a weapons test by the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Alternate Realities

Earth-691

The Badoon of this reality completely decimated the populations of the residents of the solar system, including Earth, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto and the neighboring star system of Alpha Centauri in the name of the Glorious Eastern Zone Council.

Having conquered the system, only the supergroup the Guardians of the Galaxy were able to stand up to them. After seven years of rule, they were defeated with the assistance of the Sisterhood of the Badoon.

The Badoon were not all captured and continued their manipulations, introducing the people of Earth to Realitee-Vee, a drug-like program that caused the citizens of Earth to become dependent on the device, thus making it easier for the Badoon to again conquer them. In order to keep those who would rebel against them near the facility supporting the device, they enlisted the help of the Earth group the Punishers. This plot was foiled by the Commandeers with the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Fault

In an alternate future in which the Fault expands to destroy most of the universe, the Badoon have successfully killed all other races and even enslaved the Celestials, using their power to keep the Fault from consuming their area of space. The only resistance against them is the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Starhawk traveled back in time in order to find the one responsible for the Fault, and soon met the current Guardians. After being captured (Starhawk had misinterpreted the cause of the Fault several times), he (actually she due to the changing timelines) was able to get Moondragon to release him. Starhawk then brought them to the future and they lead an assault together, getting the Celestials to send a message to the past.

This message was received and the Fault was stopped from spreading, most likely changing this timeline from it's horrible fate.
