A New 52 on-going title starring John Constantine, launched after the cancellation of Constantine's long-running Vertigo imprint title, Hellblazer, with issue #300.

During the publication of this volume, John was also appearing in Justice League Dark, and the two series often interacted with and affected each other.

The series was not exactly well received, with the main criticism is that it strayed too far from the tone of the original Hellblazer series, and became too involved with events from other DC titles (regularly interacting with Justice League Dark, and taking part in the Forever Evil: Blight, Trinity War, and Earth 2: World's End crossovers). In response, Constantine was cancelled, then retooled and relaunched as Constantine: The Hellblazer three months later.
